It's Friday!!  What's Freaky?








This!!  We went to the Henry Doorly Zoo last weekend.  These statues were all around.  They are called "Tanuki"







 At first we thought they were really ugly, then we read about them and started posing by them

 
 



 






Now we think they are kind of cool.  Hats off to the artist (a Japanese artist living in Omaha) for creating them. 

WITCHY WEDNESDAY

For today's "witchy Wednesday" post, I am sharing a few cute, witchy tee-shirts from "Hot Topic".  The prices for all these tee-shirts range from $15 - $25.  Sometimes they go on clearance.  With summer quickly approaching I am thinking casual.








The first one is very appropriate for "Witchy Wednesday"
I believe the show "Mean Girls" had the saying in it, "On
Wednesday We Wear Pink".  In the "Coven" season of
"American Horror Story", one day Jessica Lang's character
tells the other student witches to "put on something black"
and then they all go out on the town in New Orleans.
From what I understand, that's where the idea of wearing
black on Wednesdays came from.  Love the shirt.










This one speaks for itself.  'Nuff said.


















How cute is this?  Reminds me of the show "Bewitched".
I could see Samantha wearing a shirt like this.



















And finally a classic.  I'm going to have to remember to
add this to my repertoire of clever things to say when there
isn't much else to say.

New Waltz Brew Blog

Greetings everyone!

I haven't posted since last Wednesday.  This is because Cedar Falls Utilities transitioned their e mail system and I skipped a step to transition my blog over to a new address.  CFU can help me with this, but they don't know when as they have to wait until the entire cfu e mails system has migrated.

With that in mind, I hate skipping blog posts, so I decided to recreate my blog.

I have some work to do as in uploading all the photos and images I used before, and I intend to switch back over to the old one as soon as it's possible, so hopefully this is only temporary.  We will see as I am not very techy!!!

I just wanted to keep everyone informed as to why I haven't posted anything lately.  Check back tomorrow for a "Witchy Wednesday" post if all goes well.
